Shipping & Returns

Shipping Costs:

You can access our shipping cost calculator once goods are in the shopping cart.

Carriage is charged on a sliding scale. Standard carriage for orders below 30 kg is capped at £5.62 for UK mainland and £13.50 for Northern Ireland and islands. Standard carriage for orders over 30 kg is capped at £12 for UK mainland and £25 for Northern Ireland and £30 for UK islands.

Orders over £70 in value and under 30 Kilograms in weight are FREE to mainland UK addresses**. Orders over £70 in value and under 2 Kilograms in weight and under 65cms packed length are FREE to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and UK islands  (excluding Channel Islands).To take advantage of free shipping to Northern Ireland and UK islands, you will need to place your order by phone. Please note that if you have used the free shipping option for orders over £70 and you subsequently return items for a refund and your remaining order is less than £70 in value, then you will be charged the standard postage rate.

Please note: we ONLY deliver to addresses within the UK. **Excludes all islands, Northern Ireland, Argyle & Bute and the Highlands and Islands - where separate offer applies.


Delivery Information:

Standard Delivery
Orders are sent by Royal Mail recorded delivery or Parcelforce depending on the weight and value. Orders received by 2PM Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day.  Royal Mail or Parcelforce SHOULD deliver within 1-3 working days. A signature is required on delivery.

Next Working Day Delivery:
Next Working Day Delivery is available up to a weight of 30 kilograms for UK mainland and Northern Ireland  customers only. There is no free delivery option for Next Day Delivery. It is only available for orders placed before 2 pm Monday to Friday. Please bear in mind that it is the courier who guarantees the next working day delivery.Please note that Parcelforce do not guarantee next day delivery in most Scottish postcodes and Carlisle. If in doubt, please telephone us.

We will dispatch the goods on time but we cannot be held responsible for late delivery. If the goods do not arrive on time, please contact us immediately. A signature is required on delivery.

Saturday Delivery:
Saturday Delivery is available up to a weight of 30 kilograms for UK mainland and Northern Ireland customers only. There is no free delivery option for Saturday Delivery. It is only available for orders placed before 2 pm on Friday. Please bear in mind that it is the courier who guarantees the Saturday delivery. We will dispatch the goods on time but we cannot be held responsible for late delivery. If the goods do not arrive on time, please contact us immediately. A signature is required on delivery.



Non delivery of Goods
If you have not received your goods within the above specified times, please inform us and we will do our best to track the item and get it delivered to you. In the rare event of the courier losing the item completely, please allow 14 days for us to compensate you as the courier demands 14 days before we can claim.


If you are not in when the parcel is delivered, the courier will leave a note. In such an event, you are responsible for contacting the courier and making arrangements for collection/delivery. The courier will not accept notes pinned on doors asking them to deliver to another address.

If you fail to collect the delivery and it is returned to us, we will only refund the cost of the item. You will be charged for the carriage.


Returns and Your Right to Cancel:

Our Returns Policy

We want to make your shopping experience as simple and easy as possible.

For this reason, we offer Free Returns.

1/ Returning unused goods (except tents)

If you've changed your mind and wish to return your purchase within 10 days of receipt - click this link and follow the returns procedure.

2/ Returning tents

TENTS are a little more tricky.

If the tent is faulty, telephone us and we will work with you and the manufacturer to repair or replace the faulty tent or part. Do not return the tent before you telephone us. Tent poles are “consumables” and are not guaranteed. Rough handling will break poles so take care when erecting. We can supply replacement poles for a charge. Most importantly, check the tent as soon as possible before you go on holiday and within 10 days of receipt. We can’t help you while you’re in the South of France!

If you've have changed your mind, and wish to return the tent within 10 days of receipt click this link and follow the returns procedure.  Please be aware that if the tent has been pitched, it becomes “used” and is non returnable.

Make sure you wrap or parcel the tent up. Do not send it back unwrapped. It will be unsellable and you may get no refund.

2/ Returning faulty items or wrong pick items you've received

If we sent you the wrong item or the item is faulty, we’re sorry. We want to solve the problem as efficiently as possible so PLEASE CALL US on 01289 309090 with your invoice number to hand. For tent returns, please see above.

If the item is to be returned, we will give you a returns authorisation number

Refunds:

We will refund your credit or debit card for the goods that you return when we receive your goods back into our warehouse (or at the very latest within 28 days). Credit card processing companies take longer to process a refund than a sale.

We will not refund any return charges incurred by you if you do not use our free returns procedure. We do not refund the postage paid with the initial order. Please note that if you have used the free shipping option for orders over £70 and you subsequently return items for a refund and your remaining order is less than £70 in value, then you will be charged the standard postage.  If unwanted goods are returned later than 10 days or are not in a resellable condition, we may give only a partial or zero refund.

Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights, nor does it affect your right to cancel as detailed above.
